July 2005: 2005 Ford GT The Ford GT-40 was a purpose built car that won the 1967 24 hours of Le Mans by a two man team of Dan Gurney and A. J. Foyt (it ended it's rein after 4 Le Mans wins). In 2005, the car has been resurrected as the Ford GT.
